Fifty Over 50 is a listening project with leading HIV organisations, sharing the voices of people ageing with HIV, including their experiences, challenges, and hopes. By highlighting these stories, we aim to spark action and ensure they’re supported to live well at every stage of life.
What needs to happen to make a positive difference for people growing older with HIV?
Fifty Over 50 identifies a need for action. Our Declaration outlines a shared vision and calls on all parts of the system to help make it a reality.
As we work toward ending HIV transmissions in the UK by 2030, it’s equally vital to support people living with HIV to live well at every stage of life. Our Mission Statement captures the purpose behind Fifty Over 50.

The contents of the U=U series of videos and The Fifty Over 50 project are the result of collaboration and discussion between MSD and the Whole Person Care Partnership, a collaboration between MSD and several HIV, advocacy, education and scientific organisations, with content agreed on an equal basis between all those involved. MSD are the originators and funders of the initiatives.
